ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Evaluate product functionalities and performance based on market feedback
● Conduct market research to determine market requirements for current and future products
● Manage the product line life cycle from strategic planning to launching
● Drive volume and value from specific markets in collaboration with the sales and marketing team
● Defines product functionality and requirements based on gathered data and business rules
● Conducts UAT in terms of functionality and business requirements
● Ensures that product features are working and experiences are improved
● Understands customer needs through surveys, complaints, market and user research and data gathering
● Drives improvements in user experience by working with UX/UI Team
● Keeps abreast of competitor products and industry trends and look for opportunities for improvement
● Provide support to the Sales and Marketing teams by providing technical expertise and ensure performance standards and service levels are met
● Work on integrations such as - payments, logistics, tools, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering or other relevant course
● Significant 5+ years experience in product development/management
● Demonstrated experience in a product management role
● With work experience in Product Design/Development in e-commerce, fintech, logistic, omnichannel and other similar industry
● Have designed and developed a product feature from E2E. (Ideation, requirement gathering, writing product requirement, plotting road map, QA, Testing and launching, post mortem)
● Self-starter, can work with minimum supervision, and is comfortable working in a startup environment
● Able to communicate effectively with other department and offshore teams
● Familiar with agile development
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
● Open to challenges and willing to learn complex systems and processes
● Strong interpersonal, relationship and communication, listening and negotiation skills
● High attention to detail and can provide data analysis
● Ability to drive work to completion with designers & engineers
● Strong understanding of SDKs, APIs and other technology stacks in building products
● Knowledge and practice in using product management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.
● Experience in startup work environment is preferred
