About the Role
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in driving our mission to expand access to quality healthcare for more Filipinos by actively pursuing strategic opportunities and closing new accounts. As one of the pioneering team members, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to continually improve user experiences and implement best-in-class strategies to ensure an unparalleled healthcare journey.
 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and pitching to negotiating and closing SME accounts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with strategic partners to expand SMB reach.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, as well as other health plans and processes in the market.
  • Conduct regular industry and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge in our offerings.
  • Gather customer feedback and contribute insights to product development.
  • Assist in brand-building initiatives and engage in networking activities.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure exceptional user experiences.
 

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally within a SaaS or tech startup environment (experience with companies like Maya, GCash, Xendit, PayMongo, KonsultaMD, Plentina, or First Circle is highly valued).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in sales or CRM platforms such as HubSpot is a plus.
  • Creative, strategic, and proactive in identifying opportunities and problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for business decisions.
  • Open to recent graduates who are tech-savvy and resilient in fast-paced startup environments.
