ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Provide core finance and accounting services including month end close process and reconciliation activities
● Processing transactions, issuing checks, online banking responsibilities and updating ledgers
● Filing and payment to Government Regulatory Bodies such as BIR, SSS, PHILHEALTH and PAGIBIG
● Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
● Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry
● Enable process improvement opportunities and projects by understanding the end-to-end processes and bringing your insights and ideas forward
● Providing support to the Accounting Department and across other departments
● Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities. Must have high attention to detail and be highly organized. Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
● Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for your role and assigned by your immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor's Degree major in Finance, Business, Accounting, and related courses
● At least 5 years of demonstrated experience and background in Finance, Accounting
● Effective communicator and able to build relationships with various stakeholders and teams
● Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
● Innovative and has passion for learning digital tools and technologies
● Experience and knowledge in digital tools and other technology systems is an advantage
● High proficiency level in G-Suite and MS Office (Excel, PPT etc)
● Attention to detail, and accuracy
● Maintain flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as needed
● Experience in a startup is a plus
