ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide core finance and accounting services including month-end close processes and reconciliation activities.
  • Processing transactions, issuing checks, handling online banking responsibilities, and updating ledgers.
  • Filing and making payments to Government Regulatory Bodies such as BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and PAGIBIG.
  • Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Performing basic office tasks, such as filing and data entry.
  • Enable process improvement opportunities and projects by understanding the end-to-end processes and bringing your insights and ideas forward.
  • Providing support to the Accounting Department and across other departments.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities. Must have high attention to detail and be highly organized. Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for your role and assigned by your immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related courses.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience and background in Finance, Accounting.
  • Effective communicator and able to build relationships with various stakeholders and teams.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Innovative and has a passion for learning digital tools and technologies.
  • Experience and knowledge in digital tools and other technology systems is an advantage.
  • High proficiency level in G-Suite and MS Office (Excel, PPT, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Maintain flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as needed.
  • Experience in a startup is a plus.
  • Must be open in working in BGC, Taguig
